Internet Explorer Stops Responding at "Downloading ActiveX Control" Message When I Try to Use a Certificate Server
Hi, I have a problem, I try use certification server but if I select Request a certificate ->Or, submit an advanced certificate request. -> Create and submit a request to this CA. Internet explorer still write message : Downloading ActiceX, and the request finish at this message. I try google for find solution. I found this article :http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330389, so I try this site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330211/EN-US/, but I don't find fix for Windows Server 2003. Can anybody help me ? The activeX are enable in Internet explorer. I don't know where can be problem. ThankI have Windows Server 2003

I am going to assume that you have tried to connect using Windows Vista to the Windows Server 2003 CA.What happens is that Windows Vista has deprecated the use of XEnroll and now uses CertEnroll.You need to apply the patch found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922706to fix this.This patch basically applies the Windows Server 2008 Web pages to the Windows Server 2003 CA.Brian

Hi, I instal this fix, but it don't help, problem is the same :( I don't know what can I do ...reinstal windows server ..

Give me more details.You have stated that the server is running on Server 2003.- What client- What IE Security zone is the Web site in- Have you enabled scripting of objects explicitly marked as unsafeBrian
